Updated this week

The Activity Log in EducateMe is a powerful tool for tracking user actions and gaining full visibility into how learners and team members interact with the platform. It helps you monitor engagement, review administrative updates, and access a real-time timeline of key activities.

What is the Activity Log?

The Activity Log provides a chronological list of all major events across your courses and learning spaces. It helps administrators:

• Track learner engagement
• Monitor system and platform activity
• View user management actions
• Stay informed about course- and workspace-level updates

You can find it under the Analyze section: open Activity log.

What events are tracked?

Once you go to the Activity log page, you can click on Filter, and choose an action to see the following activities:

Course-Level events

These events relate specifically to activity within individual courses:

  • Course reset: Course was reset.

  • Course completed: Learner completed all required course content.

  • Course suspended: Course access was temporarily disabled.

  • Course unsuspended: Suspended course was resumed.

  • Course marked as finished: Course was manually marked as finished.

  • Course marked as unfinished: Previously finished course was marked as unfinished.

  • Course library assigned: Course library rules updated or published - learners were assigned accordingly.

  • Learning path assigned: Learning path rules updated or published - learners were assigned accordingly.

  • Member enrolled: Learner started the course on their own.

Learning space-level events

These events affect the broader learning environment and user management:

  • Member assigned: User was assigned to the course (directly or via tags).

  • Member unassigned: User was removed from the course.

  • Member created: New user account was created.

  • Member deleted: User account was deleted.

  • Member invited: User was invited to a course or workspace.

  • Member suspended: User account was suspended.

  • Member unsuspended: User account was reactivated.

By choosing a Filter option, you can additionally sort the data based on Learner tag, Course and Action.

You can export the data by clicking on Export. The data will be exported as a CSV file.

Access individual activity logs

Click on a learner’s profile picture or name to open their Learner profile. From there, go to the Activity log tab to view their personal timeline of actions: enrollments, completions, status changes in assignments, and more.

Plus, you can filter the data by a specific time range (today - all time).

Why the Activity Log matters?

• Track key events in real time without manual reporting
• Quickly export data for audits or progress checks
• Prevent miscommunication by keeping a clear, verified record
• Immediately understand if an invite, reset, or update actually happened

Expert tip: Use the Activity Log export during monthly or quarterly reviews, it gives you a clean snapshot of engagement and platform activity without needing additional analytics tools.
