Tags are customizable labels that help you organize and manage Courses, Assignments, Team members (Admins and Instructors), and Learners more efficiently. In a corporate environment, Tags customizable labels that help streamline the management of activities like training, onboarding, and employee development programs.
Important:
Courses and Teams share the same tag list.
Assignments and Learners each have their own separate tag sets.
Tags are visible only to Admins and Instructors - Learners never see them.
How to use Tags for Learners
Go to Learners page.
Click Invite Learners.
Create or select Tags for a Learner.
Note: By choosing Tags course libraries and learning paths will be assigned to the corresponding tag.
Learners can be assigned a separate set of tags, distinct from those used for courses, assignments and the team.
Learners can be assigned tags in multiple ways:
when inviting Learners to the course via email or csv import (if csv file contains tag column)
when using Tags on the left-side menu by using Tag settings
Use learner tags to:
internally organize Learners into groups based on the preferred patterns
bulk invite Learners from your organization to new courses via Assign by tag option:
How to create Tags
Go to Tags page.
Click on Create Tag.
Choose Tag type and create a Tag name.
How to change Tags for Learners
Go to Learners page.
Click on a Learner.
Open Settings by clicking on 3 dots โฎ for editing Tags.
Note: You can modify Tags by adding and/or deleting them anytime.
Note: Assigned course libraries and learning paths will be modified along with an added and/or deleted Tag.
How to use Tags for Team
Tags can be assigned to team members - Admins and Instructors - as a means to arrange the team. Navigate to Team โ โฎ three dots (Details) to assign tags to team members' profiles.
You can do the same on the Course level by navigating to Instructors page:
Team members' profiles can be searched and filtered based on the assigned tags.

Q: Can Instructors see and assign tags?
A: Yes, Instructors have the capability to view, add, assign, and remove tags for assigned courses, assignments, and Learners. Instructors cannot see or edit tags assigned to the team members - Admins and other Instructors.
