Calendar and Access type settings determine the learning pace at which Learners are expected to progress through the program. While webinars are consistently scheduled for specific dates and times in Calendar, you have the flexibility to regulate how learners access lessons according to your preferences:

Access preference

Settings

  • webinars are scheduled for specific dates/times

  • lessons are scheduled to open on specific dates/times

  • webinars are scheduled for specific dates/times

  • a Learner can access all lessons in the program

  • webinars are scheduled for specific dates/times

  • a Learner can access all lessons within an opened module. Activities in the next module become available once all activities in the current one are completed.

  • webinars are scheduled for specific dates/times

  • a Learner can access all lessons by completing them one-by-one in the order they're arranged in the program

The whole course module, along with its activities, can also be scheduled to open on a specific date/time to save time on scheduling each activity separately. Check out more in How to schedule modules.


To adjust Access type settings, navigate to course General settings:

Default setting for all newly created courses is Current and previous activities are available.
