How to Use Labels

In EducateMe, Labels are used to organize courses and team members (Admins and Instructors). Unlike Tags, Labels do not affect enrollment, course access, or automation; they are purely for organization, filtering, and clarity.

What are Labels?

Labels are descriptive identifiers that help you:

  • Organize courses and team members

  • Filter courses or team members by category

  • Keep your training environment structured and searchable

Important: For automation and enrollment of learners, use Tags. Labels are only for the visual organization of courses and teams.


Where labels can be used?

Labels can be applied to:

Labels are shared between courses and team members, meaning the same label list can be used across both.


How to create Labels?

  1. Go to Courses or Team

  2. Find the Labels field and click Add labels

  3. Enter a new label name or select an existing one

Once created, labels can be applied anywhere in your organization to improve filtering and search.


How to manage Labels?

Courses

  • Add or remove labels directly from the Course card or Course general settings

Team

  • Add or remove labels

Q: Can Instructors manage Labels?

A: Instructors can add and remove Labels on courses they manage. However, filtering team members using Labels is possible for Admins only.

Q: Can Labels be shared with learners?

A: No. Labels are internal and only visible to Admins and Instructors.

Q: Can Labels be used for learner enrollment or automation?

A: No. Labels are purely for organizing courses and team members. Use learner Tags for enrollment, access control, and automation.
