Instructors can be assigned to existing courses during the invitation step. Further details can be found in How to Invite the Team Help Center article.

However, you can also update the course allocation anytime after the Instructor has joined the organization.


How to assign Instructor to the course

Navigate to Instructors page of the course and click Invite Instructor button in the top right corner:

Switch between:

  • New Instructor tab: use this tab to invite Instructors who have not yet joined your team on the platform.

  • Team tab: access this tab to assign courses to Instructors who are already active on the platform.


How to ensure Instructor reviews Learners' assignment submission

Assigning Instructors to the course allows them to have full access and, among other things, review Learners' submission for assignments.


However, you still can assign Instructors to separate assignments. Check details in How to Review Learners' Submissions article.

Important: Make sure Requires Review setting is enabled if you would like the assignment to be assessed by Instructors. See details here


How to change the course access settings for Instructors

Instructor's assignment to courses can be updated anytime:

  1. Go to Team page.

  2. Click Details over the Instructor you would like to update the course access for.

  3. Navigate to Settings tab.

  4. Update Courses access.


How to delete Admins or Instructors from the organization

  1. Go to Team page.

  2. Click Details over the Admin or Instructor you would like to remove from the organization. You can remove one Admin or Instructor at a time.

  3. Navigate to Settings tab.

  4. Click Delete.

Important: This action is not reversable. You might want to consider Suspend option instead to temporary remove access to the organization for the chosen Instructor or Admin.


FAQ

Is it possible to assign Instructors to multiple courses?

Yes. It also works other way round - courses can have multiple Instructors assigned.

Can I change the permission role for the user?

No. You would need to delete this user with the current role (Admin or Instructor) and re-invite them with another role.

Can I upload photos for team members?

No. Once invited, Admins and Instructors can fill out their profile in their account by uploading photo, indicating location and expertise, adding social media links etc.
